Arsenal Close the Gap, Cherries on the Rise
Yeah, I got NordVPN today trying to watch The Villa at Liverpool because it's not on Peacock and it doesn't replay till tomorrow
Will:Mm
Jerrell:I was going to VPN into Mexico and watch it there. But then I forgot my HBO Max login. It's not, it's not under my, my name. So I was like, shit.
Will:hmm.
Jerrell:NordVPN was running a birthday special for,
Will:Oh shit.
Jerrell:For two years. Yeah. I was like, whatever, worth it.
Christian:that aren't on Peacock that are shown on USA or Telemundo, all you have to do is log into the USA app with your TV provider. Shout out, Will, for Spectrum.
Jerrell:Yeah, so I also tried
Will:So enjoy what you
Jerrell:I tried to do what I was just like, I have his password. I have his username. I'm like, it's not, it's not working for some reason. And I was like, no,
Will:hit me up for that cuz
Jerrell:Four days.
Will:yeah, yeah, my web is vast so I don't even keep track of passwords I ideally at this point just send me the code on your TV and I'll log in for you Cuz
Jerrell:Yeah, because like I had it I had it a couple months ago and I guess I logged me out and I was just like It's just too much. I could just, I know I could watch it on Macs from Mexico
Will:dock just passwords so
Jerrell:yeah,
Will:Over the next four days, so
Jerrell:that was I was like, whatever. And then I threw up a screen. I basically just watched the screen in Google as the scores went up.
Will:The drills throwing up sets.
Jerrell:I was like, this is it. But episode 29, we're 65%. Loaded. Season's almost over guys.
Will:to VPN Premier League
Jerrell:Hey, how did, yeah, see, see the slide deck. We're getting, we're getting really close. 13 games for most teams. 12 if you're Liverpool and Villa. But season's, season's getting a little bit more, more cooked. But we don't know, we don't know the degree of doneness yet. Welcome everyone. We're football fellows.
Christian:rare.
Jerrell:Meet me in America. Today is Wednesday, February 19th, 2025. I'm Jarrell. I'm joined with Christian and will, and yeah. What's up guys. Do we have any shout outs today? Do you want to let anybody know that we, we thinking about them?
Will:Moment of
Jerrell:I know Valentine's Day was five days ago,
Will:it was Valentine's Day and our our warriors are our favorites breasts gracefully ducked out of the UCL. They took us further than we ever thought we would. They filled us with hope. had me breathing heavy at times throughout the competition. Shoutout to Bress. You can finally put that weight down.
Christian:That's crazy, that's a premature talk. about breast there about the UCL, but
Will:J Jerrel
Christian:I
Will:said I can shoutout whatever I want. Bress, Bress and yes. Heh heh heh.
Christian:I'm
Jerrell:about you, Christian?
Christian:my dog. Hazel. I got a
Jerrell:Oh, yeah.
Will:Said, Will's dog's 15. I'm gonna overshadow it with the next day post. I was like, that's crazy bro. Heh heh heh.
Christian:December 14th. So shout out to the 14 years birthdays, but yeah, it was very, very last second.
Will:That's a Babylon date.
Christian:ad
Will:That's a
Jerrell:I got it. Yeah, I got, I got a text. And then three hours later, there was a puppy. I was like, oh my God.
Christian:Yeah, we picked it up from like the boondocks plus 10 miles to the point where I just I sent the address to will I was like, if I disappear, this is where I was I don't know if you saw the picture that popped up but tell me I didn't look like it was not somewhere I should be
Will:It looked like Texas Chainsaw Massacre area. I was just kinda this man's using Craigslist Craigslist in the year 2025 bro whatever happens to him, happens to him.
Jerrell:You said Craigslist. I was like, that's crazy.
Will:to me. I was just like, Wow.
Jerrell:Christian's missing. He's in like a 15, 000 square mile search radius.
Will:he didn't ask me to go out and go find him because I feel like that's going to be like a full metal jacket thing where I go up. It was like, he was around here somewhere and then I get shot too and then I'm gonna go look for Christian, okay? Jarrell comes, there's no pod this week I'm glad everything worked out.
Jerrell:And now there's a puppy. We got a new listen guys. San Jose, California,
Christian:San Jose.
Jerrell:West coast.
Will:Uzbekistan, so we, we learned a little bit, so shout out San Jose. Coastal,
Christian:Shout out to San Jose.
Jerrell:Oh yeah.
Christian:it's not my parent company because that's their HQ.
Jerrell:Oh, what's that? What's that known for? Is it, is it, how close is that to Silicon Valley? Not is, I'm not sure,
Christian:tech stuff there.
Will:coastal.
Jerrell:not, not familiar with California too much. So
Christian:about an hour south of San Fran.
Jerrell:gotcha. I do know that the 49ers actually, their stadium is there.
Will:it.
Jerrell:I know the 49ers stadium is in San Jose, but that's about it.
Christian:Yeah.
Will:The San Jose Niners.
Jerrell:Yeah. Just like the Meadowlands giants. We are on socials, guys. We have Instagram, we have Twitter slash X for the weirdos who want to call it X. We are at the football fellas. Those are the only socials we have. If you find us on Oli fans, that is a fake account. Do not follow that account.
Will:me. It said, the Patreon said, send daddies your money. You can also hit us up gmail dot com if you have something you want us to discuss, or, or, whatever else, honestly
Jerrell:Or you don't use socials and you just want to reach out to us in some way.
Will:we, we, we will feel your touch, so hit us up.
Jerrell:Yeah. Match day 25 guys who wants to get into it. Any takers?
Will:it, I would
Jerrell:All right.
Will:to take over Match Day 25. Match Day 25 review from over there, sorry review over the weekend. Bryden gets a comfortable 3 0 win over Chelsea over the weekend despite only having 30 percent possession in that game. Lysester City fight strong for 80 minutes at home, but ultimately fall to Arsenal behind a Mikel Moreno brace after he subbed on late. Aston Villa, Ipswich Town, shout out Christian ends up tied 1 1 despite passage of play, bounce of play. Fulham, Nottingham Forest ends up 2 1 at Cravens Cottage. Man City shows a return to form again, at least in the league, 4 0 over Newcastle. Southampton, Burnmouth ends in the favor. Of the cherries one three was the final score there West Ham United Brentford ends up. Oh one in favor of the killer bees Crystal Palace Everton, 1 2, shout out Molly Buschel. where we at? In Liverpool, Wolves. Liverpool hold up 2 1. Get a result and then in everyone's game of the week, Spurs eke out a 1 0 win behind a 13th minute strike from Madison. Early on and that was match day 25.
Jerrell:Boom.
Will:Put your heads up. Yeah.
Jerrell:Yeah. Okay. Can you guys explain Marino playing nine to me? Like it's the NFL.
Will:Okay. Hold up. I got this. Okay. It's I was, I was going to say Saquon Barkley, but I don't know if Marino's in that tier. It's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold
Christian:Who'd you put at mid? I feel like a 10 would be your quarterback, right? But
Will:up. Hold up. Hold up. I'm getting there. I'm getting there. I'm working. I'm cooking. It's if Jerry Judy went to play quarterback and then through like for 300 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter
Jerrell:That's fucking crazy.
Will:Wild card weekend. We'll call it that. Fair enough. Close enough.
Christian:I was, I was
Jerrell:Wild card weekend.
Christian:Batch if Charlie Batch played running back and scored four touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Will:Now my nine's my quarterback or maybe a wide out, but you know what? Hey, Christian, whatever works for you. We're going to put a poll. Who's whose was more appropriate. Christian stays in that Pittsburgh lens. I was trying to be, I was trying to be for the people. So
Christian:Bro, we're the most well traveled team. We are the people.
Will:I don't know if anyone was paying for Charlie Batch though. That's gonna be my only, no offense to Charlie Batch. I don't think anyone was paying 30 million pounds for Charlie Batch though. So yeah, Mikkel Marino he was a late sub in on the game. We lost the plot again. He was a late sub in the game. Arteta said, fuck it, you're tall. You have presence, scores a header, and then he gets another touch. Long term solution? Probably not, but Arsenal needs to be able to get wins wherever they can get it from, and they were able to get too late for Mourinho.
Christian:I
Jerrell:It was like a, it's like a trial run, really. So who was playing nine for most of the match then?
Will:front three were, yeah, so it was Sterling on the left, Trossard, and then Nwanneri. Nwanneri had a great game.
Christian:know he had a great
Will:Sterling on the flip side looked like someone who hasn't had a consistent run of form and just you can see that he was not percolating. So it definitely looks like someone who's thrown out there is Hey, we need something for you. And he wasn't able to give a lot, but maybe his face and all the running all game was able to tie her down, but definitely didn't look strong during the game. Centro started out wide and he looked more, like the true side. We recognize his time. With Marino up front.
Christian:Every time I see Sterling play, it just reminds me of FIFA 21 and how they had him running in FIFA
Will:tie didn't run, yeah.
Christian:That's
Will:What'd
Christian:Yeah, for sure. but yeah, it was, it was, I, unfortunately I, I, I messaged the team. I missed the last two goals. I missed the last 30 minutes of the game. Cause I had to go out on a, on a little runny run.
Will:I tell you?
Christian:But no, it was, it was a good game leading up to it. It was, it was a lot of why the fuck can we not score, type situations, but
Jerrell:Felt like that's been the question.
Christian:that no one ever asked for was able to put away a brace.
Will:Mary 9, I keep on trying to make it a thing, but Yeah, I woke up early from the game. I forgot what I was doing Friday night, but it was pretty late. I didn't sleep much, but I woke up and through bleary eyes I was just like, This game is fucking trash. My heart is leaving my body. And then Marino scored and I think I went straight to the group chat And messaged and they scored again. I was just like, never worried, am I right? But that was a huge result for sure for Arslan to kinda keep the pressure on Liverpool. Liverpool played the next day, were able to get a win, but yeah, huge, huge result for them to keep him alive in the race in a situation where he probably need a win out as we keep seeing.
Jerrell:Yeah. Arsenal is unbeaten in the past 15 games. So that's good.
Christian:Yeah. Any, do you guys hold any weight to the Firmino news? not news, I mean your rumor that's circulating right now.
Will:We'll, we'll see, cause he's still under contract and he's trying to get out. Does Firmino move, move the, does he, is he someone who like moves the needle and how soon does that deal. Would come to fruition.'cause you imagine for the next couple weeks he could be useful if you could integrate him quickly, but also if he's out of favor on his current squad he's playing Saudi.
Christian:Yeah.
Will:If he's out of favor there and then you have aka Martinelli coming back, or do you, do you think for know someone who can make a difference maybe. last two months of the season. I, I don't know. I don't know.
Christian:We need a 9 though. We need a 9,
Will:It stays consistent. I feel like I'm in a, in a memento where I have a tattoo all over me. It was just like sign the nine, sign the nine. I wake up every day. Did we do it? No, no, not at all.
Christian:Can you imagine how upset the fanbase would be if we don't sign a 9 for in the in
Will:oh, we need, we need a Zubimendi, Benjamin Sesco and whatever outlay next summer. So that way we can think, the only thing that's going to hurt is that if. And we're gonna get a little bit further into it. There is another result today that, Arsenal has another opportunity to, cut the, cut Liverpool's lead down. As if we fall like a point or two short, it's gonna come down to just if we had spent a January. But, as Gerald said, 15 games unbeaten. We had a wobble November December. But past that despite not having those pieces, we're still finding ways to win games, or at least not lose games. But Definitely in the can't drop points area of the season. So we'll see we'll see But at the same time on the flip side if we somehow win the league without a nine They just might not spend over the summer. I don't know
Jerrell:Toe boy, run it back.
Will:Put that in the air. I fucked up
Jerrell:Shit. Chelsea looking wobbly this week. Brighton comfortably winning three zero, also not having a lot of possession in that game. What's going on? What's going on in in Chelsea right now?
Christian:Drops to Bryant. I think Bryant beat them the 8th last week. And then they go right around and then they beat them three zero here over the weekend. It, it takes them out of contention. I think they're, they're now out of the top four, right? they're
Jerrell:This, this is, there's six, the cherries, which we'll get into took the fifth spot
Will:moon shitty
Jerrell:Man City's at four.
Christian:Let's see. I thought I had that tab
Will:Yeah, chelsea's chelsea's dealing with a down running for him. No nico jackson I mean they still should still have enough death but in this game despite having 70 possession I think it was like I forgot the stat, it was something crazy. They had no shots on target despite having all that possession and Bryden just looked real comfortable coming at them on attack.
Jerrell:Feels like our Tuesday night.
Will:Okay this weekend? But yeah. I was just like, Jesus Christ. But yeah, 5 XG from a team like Chelsea that earlier in the season were running on all cylinders. You see a little bit of a panic in the fan base and you can see it on the field where there's just no inspiration coming. We'll see we'll see how it looks going forward. Obviously, they're doing great in the conference league considering the spending that they have but besides that they're out of most competition I mean you just want to finish strong and finish with the champions league's place So that way you remain a place that teams want to go to.
Jerrell:And, and Brian has been looking a little wobbly going into that game as well. They drop two, two games in a row. But I,
Will:Yeah
Jerrell:yeah, one must survive. But yeah, to drop three on, on Chelsea.
Will:I have to see it, but Midtoma had a great opening goal I said, I heard, I didn't get to see it yet, but I heard it was like, up for maybe like goal of the season in EPL, and then Jankuva Minthe, they were able to get a brace and just eke it out, but yeah, Chelsea looking poor in attack is not something I had in my cards considering all the pieces that they have.
Christian:yeah, it's almost freaking fast. He was able to pretty much shred through, through through them pretty well. Another downside for Chelsea, they lose two more players in this game. I think they lost Jordan Sancho was, was out in the first half and Reese James got out with an injury in the second half and struggling Chelsea right now. They, they have, they're missing a lot of key players. But so they, they have depth and. They should've played a lot better than what the score suggests.
Jerrell:Yeah, definitely. I, but the, the, ah, holy shit. The Tractor Boy's got a tie today, Christian. Or
Will:gonna lie, I heard shit shit shit.
Jerrell:Th th th th th th the Tractor! Got him!
Christian:Yeah I think they tied late so around the 70th minute I was about to text a group chat, I was like, do you guys hear that, and then just progressively go ooooh. But no, unfortunately, yes, in Villa Tide in the last minutes, I do want to give a quick shout out, shout out, shout out to Ipswich new
Jerrell:you had your chance for shoutouts, I'm kidding.
Will:him out, shite him out.
Christian:I didn't want to get ahead of schedule I do, I do want to give a great shout out to the man of the match, Alex Palmer, Ipswich just got a brand new goalie, it's their second Game against them.
Will:Fresh out the box.
Christian:fresh out. They started, he started the
Jerrell:Just unloaded him from the trailer. Little
Christian:Where Ipswich won 4 1 and he, Ipswich was down a man early. It was a stupid red card. It was a well deserved red card because it was too stupid at, we're not sponsored, it was too stupid as yellow cards early on in the game. Which led to a red card. So if we're just playing with 10 players for the majority of the game and then shout out to, to Palmer, he had amazing saves throughout the game and he, he won the man of the match. He's pretty much what kept them in, in, in play. So I'm curious to see how, how well they transition, if they can take. The new goalie if he can stay in form and hopefully not not not be in relegation talk.
Will:Yeah, Ipswitch, this was not a game where it was just like, Oh, both teams played even, this was fair run of play. Ipswitch very much stole the gold. Liam Dellop, shout out to him. I don't think he'll be there next year. I think he gets bought up by someone. But Alex Palmer, like Christian said, great performance. Ipswitch took the lead, Oli Watkins was able to equalize. And then, yeah, pretty much Ipswich was just holding on for their, for their asses pretty much because they, they dealt with a barrage of chances and Villa just had one of those games where they couldn't get a result. Ollie Watkins, great goal. Coming on after Was it the rashford free kick right that he cleaned up if i'm not crazy. I'm not crazy. Yeah rashford They got him on loan just just casually. Took a wonderful free kick olly walkins pushed it away put it away He does he does nine things for them great result for ips which we were talking about how they need to make up for the drop of points against villa southampton a couple weeks ago This is a step towards it as they stay in a little bit of a relegation battle over the coming weeks
Jerrell:relegation bubble going on.
Christian:Yeah like you mentioned reshford did have an amazing game like right off right off the bench He had a great a great curler that was saved. Like you said he he He's pretty much led, the 1 1 off of that free kick that just happened to fall in for Watkins. And, and late in the game he had a really good run against the, the defense, so Rashford looks some, some flashes there as a villain.
Will:I like that every time I hear a villain. I'm just like I get it
Jerrell:He's a villain!
Will:we also had freaky forest a surprising shock drop of points pretty much
Jerrell:Oh no!
Will:full on
Jerrell:A little bit of
Will:Nine hand forest freaky forest I I appreciate that i've gone to a point that seeing this result at this point in the season I'm, just like Kind of an upset. Fulham's having a great season, but I, I expect so much from our, from the Freaky Forest nowadays versus the start of the season where I've been like, fair play, fair play, but yeah, terrible game for Nottingham. They looked toothless and hapless, so definitely a result they need to go out and purge from them. It was closer than the score suggested, but just watching kind of like what I could on Golazo, Nottingham, very un Nottingham performance.
Christian:Yeah, I was watching bits and pieces of the game while I was doing like some chores around the house and Every time I looked up, did not have the ball It was always full and pressing and I was like, this isn't my trees. These aren't my trees These aren't my top four trees over here.
Jerrell:deforestation going on here. Full and the cottagers are taking over the forest.
Will:Cottage, yeah.
Christian:was good But yeah, it was it wasn't like them. It was a weird game for them and they dropped points
Will:Christian said,
Christian:to Smithrow for, for that goal, 3rd
Will:Yes, ESR, ESR, still in our hearts, we'll always remember you. But yeah definitely a result, you purge, you move on from good result for Foam, Foam's having a great season. But, yeah, yeah Citi, back to form, Omar Marmouche hit a hat trick in about 14 minutes in the first half. Newcastle,
Jerrell:I saw the first one and I was like, Oh no.
Will:Arsenal's personal kryptonite. Newcastle ain't shit to anyone else apparently, we can't beat them, everyone else will. Some fucking bullshit, if you ask me, but City were able to get a little bit of a bit of joy. They were They're hovering fifth right now. I have to pull up the standings again.
Jerrell:I believe the first goal was a it was a keeper assist too.
Christian:4th.
Will:I'm familiar
Jerrell:Newcastle had such a high line that they just, he had enough to just chuck it behind them and just say, Hey, go run it down.
Christian:Yeah, Mamoosh has been playing really well for Man City the last few games. Except today, heh heh heh.
Jerrell:Oh he's just, he's, he's, he's got Premier League running through his veins, not, not Champions League.
Will:all right, so
Christian:of Mamoosh's goals were, were really nice. They were all different and they were all aesthetically pleasing goals. Shout out, Mamoosh. He, he had a solid game there.
Jerrell:In a game that we pretty much figured which way it was going to go Bournemouth beat Southampton 3 1. But this puts Bordemouth up into the top five. If I told you that the Tricky Trees and Bournemouth were the top five at the start of the season. Y'all think that's crazy, but here they are.
Will:get it true. We were wrong about them. Let it go. Damn
Jerrell:We were all wrong.
Christian:Where do we have him? Where do we have Burnmooth?
Will:we it's okay not
Jerrell:Probably like 13.
Christian:Mid table. We'll take, you
Will:think we had a mid table y'all y'all carry on i'll get
Jerrell:You'll find out for us. But yeah, Bournemouth top five. I've, we've seen them play well. I didn't think they were playing this well. They are ahead of Chelsea and, and Newcastle teams that we thought would occupy those spaces. But yeah, here's Bournemouth, 5th place, not a bad form, they dropped one game in the past five,
Will:did have You were right
Jerrell:13th? Okay, cool.
Christian:I like those jerseys. The more I look at it.
Jerrell:Ask Michael B. Jordan if he can get you one.
Christian:Oh yeah. I'll call him up right now.
Jerrell:Yeah, he's got a new movie coming out, actually.
Will:jersey
Jerrell:Yeah,
Will:so You
Jerrell:he's got a new movie coming out.
Will:Busy Bees, they get an early goal. Kevin Schott scores in the fourth minute. Something we heard a lot earlier in the season where Brentford strikes quick, they're able to hold on for a 1 0 win against West Ham. you guys want to touch on with this one?
Jerrell:Just a quick note that I noticed that the script has flipped for the Bs since the last They're better away than they are at home.
Will:They're migrating as it
Jerrell:look a little wonky.
Christian:They keep talking shit about us, bro. We'll show
Will:They get nervous. Yeah, they got nervous.
Jerrell:in all things. Yeah, so don't The hive is now traveling, guys. It's getting colder out. They need to find new places for a hive. And, yeah, they're taking points off everybody when they go away. They just can't do it at home anymore. They have one draw at home since December 27. That was interesting. It was a bit odd. Everton 2 1 over Crystal Palace. Toffees. Yeah, pulling off that win after drawing Liverpool, so that's cool. There's Everton's trending positively on that one. Crystal Palace are gonna, I feel like, are gonna settle in that where are they, 14 16 range. They're 13, I lied. But they're probably going to settle in the middle of the table right now. I don't think they're in a place to compete for an international league or get relegated. So this game just is eh, it happened. Liverpool 2 1.
Will:did want to say,
Jerrell:Go ahead.
Will:was a team that we had in a relegation battle. They bring in David Moyes and then over what the last five games they picked up about 13 points moving them firmly outside of that, that drop. So it went from a five team race to more of a four team race that we're looking at remainder of the season. So I wanted to shout out the job that David Moyes is doing once he was bought in able to help that team get results and bring a level of necessarily like full on comfort, but like comfort in the sense just relegation is looking difficult at this point. So I just wanted to shout that out.
Jerrell:Yeah. Liverpool 2 1 over the Wolves. Will, you mentioned that the Wolves are really resurgent in the second half and kinda had Liverpool looking a little nervous.
Will:Yeah, it's a lot of this season, I'm not taking anything away from Liverpool, obviously that they're, they're, they're bossing it and they're finding ways to take points. Can't yet. But definitely second half of the game, Wilbur Wilbur Hampton, they're looking at the relegation. Liverpool goes up 2 0 at Anfield early on. And pretty much the whole second half, it looked like the Wolves were going to get the second goal at some point. So shout out to Liverpool showing resilience, able to, get their goals early and hold on. But Wolves, that second half was like probably the sloppiest half of football that I've seen from Liverpool. And you don't want to say a team's lucky when they're sitting up front, but I feel like they were lucky to escape with all three points. And tough shout for Wolves as they're hovering around 17th right now and they're in a battle. Definitely a game that I could see, could have seen gone another way.
Jerrell:And then Van United and Spurs James Madison scores relatively early in that game and the Spurs kind of coasted on that goal. I did want to point out that Ameren has lost 8 out of 14 games. I don't really think there's like nothing. I don't think there's anything he can do about it with the team that he has, or this just might just have to be something that goes into the offseason just to, just to address itself.
Will:Yeah. They're like similar to I'm not bullying as on him. Cause a lot of Manchester United's mistakes are also just like self inflicted, but like when you look at their bunch benched usually the death you expect from a power five team, you, it's just not really there. They pretty much have like under 19 bench, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you bring an M rim to do a job, you got to trust him at this point to do the job. But Rasmus Hoyland relatively unproven Patrick Dorgoo, relatively unproven Kassimiro. He's showing heavier legs as he's just getting into the years for him. But there's pieces around that team, but they just don't have a vision. So same for me where we've been talking about them a lot of the season is just Hey. Get through the season, reorganize, reprioritize. If you are can't clean house, try to move out some wages so you can bring in other guys, but they're punting on this season. They 12 laws is this year for Manchester United is unheard of. Also shout out Spurs, Spurs able to get early goal. You're seeing Madison, as we mentioned, he's able to get a goal. He's come back there. Goalkeeper Vicario. He comes back for the first time since November. And then you have a destiny who doggy Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odebrecht showing up on the bench. So it looks like they're finally getting some healthy pieces back. necessarily this is going to save their season and bring them back into a top eight But it should help on just post Akaglu also just get some heat off of his seat What's been a very tumultuous like last few months for them.
Jerrell:Spurs and Man United are also still alive in the Europa League, so they, they're still a trophy. There's still a trophy out there for them. I think Man United's still in the
Will:their
Jerrell:FA Cup. Yeah,
Will:so
Jerrell:there's still things to look forward to.
Will:Not for us
Christian:Man, you's interesting, because you see the players that recently left they're doing well. Biggest snow would be Anthony. He's won back to back to back Man of the Match
Will:Anthony has a twin brother that was playing in United because he showed up to bet this and
Christian:Yeah,
Will:fucking amazing Did you see the fucking laser he scored off that volley? Like I forgot if it was last week or the week before He's been so good for them
Christian:think his last game, he had a goal and an assist, right?
Will:Sounds about right. Yeah
Christian:you have Rashford, who we just talked, Rashford came off the bench doing pretty well from what we've seen right now with the villains. And I think even Veran sometime this week was talking mad shit about Man U.
Will:Talking mad shit, I love it. Carry on
Christian:Man U, and just it just seems It's echoing what a lot of players have previously said, it's just it just seems like more of a systemic thing rather than just like a lack of talent, because they have the talent, they just can't seem to, the changes in coaches throughout the years, they can't really seem to get a hold a winning formula, unless you count the FA Cup, which Trophy's a trophy.
Jerrell:The Anthony thing is it's like weird to me, like through my lens, because not watching football for very long. When Anthony was at Man United, they're always the memes. I always, he's, he's my goat. Like he's the best player. And then I tuned in many 90 games and Oh, he'll sub on maybe 20 the game. He wouldn't start. I'm just like, is it just
Will:It's very
Jerrell:they just, they just want you to stay, just pick him. Yeah. They just like, Oh, he's, he's good because.
Christian:It's mostly
Jerrell:a meme kind of thing. And then he goes,
Christian:him. Cause when he played for Ajax, he was really fucking good
Will:under ETH, too, yeah.
Christian:Yeah, so he played really well and they play, I forgot what the, what the price tag was for him, but they play, they paid a pretty penny to bring Anthony over and he
Will:I think it was like 75 million pounds, yeah.
Christian:Yeah.
Jerrell:the Anthony thing for me was like the Chris Pratt meme, where it's just I don't know if he's actually good. And I'm too afraid to ask at this point.
Will:it's along the lines of what we've seen over in Manchester United for a while, because Jadon Sancho, he comes out of Dortmund, and it's like a lot of the times I think their issue in recruitment was that they would get hot ticket players without really having a direction in how they want to necessarily use them or play until those players Strengths essentially bringing in jaden santro jaden santro had a great season with dortmund the year before obviously within the context of Playing next to bellingham and holland, but they bought him in there. He's a right winger. They're flipping his wings They're not really having him comfortable in doing the things he did. So I mean it's part talent it's part putting those pieces together, but you have math is the lit. Harry Maguire, when he first got there was like highly rated and he became a little bit of a meme considering price tag again, whether that's fair or unfair, but it, they just need to stick, stick out. So if they think Amram's their guy, stick it out and try to get those guys to fit and just also be smart in the recruitment as well, because a lot of their guys, they bought in. In the past, I've just been kinda like, Teams want him, we're gonna plug him, and they don't know how to use him. We'll, we'll see how it looks like.
Jerrell:We did have Ashton Villa and Liverpool play today. It was a reschedule for match day 26. I believe it's because of Liverpool's Carabao, I thought, yeah,
Will:have one later, yeah?
Jerrell:yeah. So a Carabao scheduling conflict pushes this match up either help. I've actually think it did like really hurt Liverpool just because they've, they've been, I think they've been playing two games a week. For a couple of weeks now between champions league FA cup and premier league. So they've been super busy managed to equalize on Ashton Villa, get the draw to two but not without chances of winning the game later in the half. Yeah. It's
Will:Yeah, the last kick of the game, actually, Villa almost stole it with the last kick. Daniel Mullen was able to kinda, He got a little bit of a lucky touch, and he went just wide. But, It was definitely a topsy turvy game. Liverpool went up early, Villa took a 2 1 lead, then Trent Arnold was able to score an equalizer, and then it was just kind of like, who's going to steal this game? But drop points are drop points, a little bit of fixture conjecture, as you mentioned for them between all their competitions, but right now,
Christian:I don't care.
Will:Right now they played a game more than the competition. They have an 8 point lead. So Arsenal, a couple weeks ago, we were just like, let's just keep them at 9. Opportunity this weekend.
Christian:Let's keep them at
Will:We can get them to 5. Yeah. The biggest thing is just the more games and the closer that window closes the more pressure Liverpool looks as I think this is probably their worst run of the season. All things considered Tai here, unconvincing against wolves. Tai against Everton. They lost against Plymouth in the FA Cup. That was before, obviously, the Caraballo Cup victory. We'll see how it looks.
Jerrell:something a lot. I the. Arsenal reddit is going crazy because they're just like liverpool was in this situation last year and look where it got them So There's hope from the gunners
Will:the chickens before they hatch. So
Jerrell:Yeah It's crazy,
Will:Yeah, they have a tough stretch coming up.
Jerrell:Yeah, man. Yep.
Christian:City, Newcastle, and then the toughest one. And
Jerrell:I think that's edge of my seat action right there
Will:Probably, they're gonna fuck on UCASL, aren't they? It's just us.
Christian:then everybody mark your calendars for May 10th. Liverpool, Arsenal, that could be the, that could be the decider.
Will:It's gonna be decided by then, bruv. gonna be dead.
Christian:by then.
Jerrell:By then soccer and martinelli are back, right
Will:Yeah, they're hoping to get them
Jerrell:Ideally,
Will:after the international break in March.
Jerrell:Okay
Will:are coming. We just have to get through a month, so we'll see what it
Jerrell:after the international break in the international breaks at the end of march then
Will:yeah, I think our last game, if I remember is around the 15th or 21st, I don't remember exactly off the top of my head, and then that'll take us through the end of April or at the end of March, essentially,
Jerrell:oh, man, okay arsenal still gotta play chelsea and man united nottingham forest And West Ham tough. Okay. How exciting.
Christian:Liverpool Chelsea, Tottenham, Fulham, Everton, Man
Jerrell:it's going to be exciting. I'm excited.
Will:rely on Spurs for any championship hopes, so we
Jerrell:Oh no,
Will:We need to get it up, right? Anything else you guys
Jerrell:this year, more than anything,
Will:Anything As far as a Premier League matchday 25 or that
Jerrell:nothing for the match day, but we are on relegation watch now. We have a couple of teams sitting in the bubble. We've got wolves at 19 points of switch and lesser city at 17 points, South Hampton. Anything can happen, but they're basically dead. That that's where we're at with relegation and who sits above West Ham at 27 points
Will:They're
Jerrell:are looking pretty safe. They're, they might not have anything to worry about. We'll see what happens. Anything can happen.
Will:in June Motherfucker! Fucking jinxed my shit.
Jerrell:And the champion championship league side, you guys are familiar with how the promotion works or anything. I don't want to explain it if I don't have to
Will:a 3 6 tourney. Do it, do it for the uninitiated. Go
Jerrell:do it for the listeners. Okay. So a championship league, they get promoted. The top two teams are promoted automatically with the next three to six doing a playoff 14 playoff winner gets promoted there. So on the championship side, we have leads 72 points, Sheffield United, 70 points. And then 3 6 is Burnley, Sunderland, Black Rover, Blackburn Rovers, sorry, and West Broom.
Will:Made his return back to the pitch after 371 days. Ah, ah, ah, ah.
Jerrell:and then there's there's quite a few teams that are within 6 points of 6, so that list will, will change. It literally went from like 3 down to 15 we'll, we'll adjust that and keep you posted on that one. Championship League plays 44 games.
Will:Dick
Jerrell:Compared to, yeah, compared to Premier League's 30, 38, but yeah, that's a, that's a relegation watch. We'll, we'll check in on that every now and again. We want to talk about chip. Yeah. We're on location corner champions league. We want to talk about that. Run through it. Anything exciting. We already know breast got
Christian:They
Jerrell:destroyed.
Will:Shhh, not fondled! Woah! I was gonna say a moment of silence for breasts, but Jesus Christ, not the fondle.
Christian:Yeah,
Jerrell:at least imply they had a little bit of fun. It's 10 zero.
Will:very, it was very creepy vibes over there. PSG, literally I saw it cause
Christian:on aggregate.
Will:I don't even know where the goals came from because I saw they were up 2 0 and then when I went and looked again it showed 7 and I was like, oh that's the aggregate, maybe they went 4 0. So then I went back and I was like, oh let me update some stuff for the doc. It was like, no, 10 0 on aggregate. I've only done that, seen that shit on FIFA bro. That shit was disrespectful, bro. They were just like, there's only one team in League 1 who will go forward. That was a terrible French accent. Fix it in post drop. Run it through AI.
Jerrell:I can't do that.
Christian:yeah, it was
Will:can't or won't.
Christian:yes, you just kept coming
Jerrell:Both.
Christian:and coming on breasts. They
Will:Stop.
Christian:way to stop it.
Will:No, you stop, please. I
Jerrell:They're dead.
Will:I really do.
Jerrell:They got sent home. It's over.
Will:I caught it earlier. It's just when you like censored yourself for saying ass, how like, There are certain weeks where we're just disgusting. We're just disgusting. Just balls everywhere. Whatever. And just other weeks are just like we have to watch out for our sponsor opportunities.
Jerrell:mark this, I do mark the pot as explicit every episode
Will:we'll,
Jerrell:yeah.
Will:change. They're just some weeks where it's it's Valentine's Day. We can be nice. We watch a funeral today. We can be nice. And Christian's over here talking about cumming on breasts. Crazy. Fucking insane.
Jerrell:Club Rouge,
Will:what was
Jerrell:down Atalanta, 5 2 on ag, aggregate. Atalanta ninth seed. I know seeds don't matter and whatever, but
Will:this
Jerrell:a shock.
Will:was an upset. This was belt to ass. Jeral, I know you saw it earlier because I was able to watch some games while I was waiting for something at work. And I was just putting stream of consciousness, but I, they were beating their ass.
Jerrell:Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Will:late, their captain, he literally went to tackle a guy, but he didn't use his arms because he didn't know if he wanted to swing or not. It was really bad. It was really bad, and I did want to shout out Adamulo Luhkman, AFKON player of the year last year. He took a penalty, and he missed a penalty, and their coach pretty much said he's one of the worst penalty takers I've ever seen. Ever, which is
Jerrell:So why have him take penalties?
Will:to take it so he was saying Rettigy or Ketelari should have taken it, but I'm also just kinda like singling out one guy, he talked about the captain as well. After the result is unfortunate considering just Brugge honestly just took their lunch money and once again put that belt to ass. It was wild. Huge, huge upset.
Jerrell:Christian, tell us about Real Madrid.
Christian:Oh, it was, it was beautiful. I unfortunately did not watch the full game because work was working today, but I did have it on in the background and, and, and Bapis scored his hat trick, I
Jerrell:Oh boy. Christian's
Christian:they were all pretty solid goals. Were, they were all really pretty goals and I'm, I'm just glad Man City is just going to have a season with absolutely zero trophies. But yeah, everybody looked good. You see some spark between the top three of Rodrigo, excuse me, Vinny and Bappe. We have Valverde playing right back, which is unfortunate because he's said it multiple times. His favorite position is in the center, but He's playing really well at right
Will:Cries in Chiwemini. Cries in Kamavinga.
Christian:not sure how many moved up to the midfield or was it? No, not sure how many and come I mean got both played in the mid today.
Will:Glad they got a chance. Yeah.
Christian:Rudiger got Rudiger came back. He was able to play the full game So they they they didn't even at center back and we have Mendy playing pretty well on left back So they were able to to go up in the midfield and they played really well. You can see that that's their Transcript That's what they're most comfortable in.
Will:Yeah. And watching Man
Jerrell:glad band city is out and he's more glad that real Madrid.
Will:Yeah. Man City honestly looking like maybe we'll see if they're able to read Thule further over the, over the summer window with whatever sanctions coming their way, but Man City over both ties. So it's just they're. I don't think there's really a conversation that can be had that's saying that, the tie shit went another way. Obviously, Noah Holland today he picked up a knot over the weekend. KDB hasn't shown, been able to, hasn't been full fitness for a while. He's been like spot stepping or whatnot, but just watching this game run of play and the chances created, you expected Man City to give up a few goals. They were able to get one late from Nico Gonzalez, their new signing. But. It somehow feels like Man City went from world beaters to just kind of like, a team in deep transition. So we'll see what they look like going forward the rest of the season.
Christian:a quick transition. We got a shout out to Celtic man They they almost did the impossible It wasn't until a 94 fourth
Will:Yep.
Christian:Tied by Alfonso Davies.
Jerrell:greatest player
Will:Sommer
Jerrell:the game.
Will:had a great save and then Alfonso Davies said, I'm gonna clean that up. Celtic was fighting for their lives.
Christian:Yeah. Yeah,
Jerrell:So
Christian:was close
Jerrell:if that was a tie, is it going to, if it's tied on aggregate, is it straight to penalties or extra time?
Christian:time
Will:As, as
Jerrell:wow.
Christian:you bring that
Will:Go ahead, Christian.
Christian:god Did you guys see PSP Juventus?
Will:I saw extra time. That's all bits of the goals going. But yeah, PSV taking lunch money. 2
Christian:yeah, pretty much. They, they won 3 were able to score and yeah, they, they went on aggregate. The first game, what was it? I think the first game Julia won 2 1
Will:1 and
Jerrell:Yes.
Will:Turin and yeah, they flipped it 3 1 on its head huge huge result for PSB
Christian:Yeah, I think that game ended like 30 minutes or about an hour, 45 minutes before we started the pod. But that was, that was a pretty solid game. They
Will:actually, I think they finished 540 Because then you had message, but yeah
Jerrell:Feyenord sends AC Milan packing on a one, one draw,
Will:Hernandez was on
Jerrell:and winning
Will:Yeah, I
Jerrell:two to one
Will:because yeah, that was Theo Fernandez just Do you know how crazy it is to get a second yellow for diving? Yeah
Jerrell:for diving. Okay.
Will:yeah Feyenoord representing Amsterdam Rotterdam, and is able to The Netherlands, sorry. And he did, they're able to go through to the round of 16. They also had a 3 0 result against Bayern. Were able to tie with City before City's wheels fully came off in a win against Benfica. Overshadowed by their last day ass whipping 6 1. But huge result for Feyenoord. Did AC Milan, what happened to Captain America drill?
Jerrell:I don't know. I don't pay attention to Syria.
Will:damn it.
Christian:booed the National Anthem. No,
Will:Wait,
Jerrell:Which one.
Will:was that Canada?
Christian:no,
Will:I was like, everybody is.
Christian:that was Canada.
Will:Yeah, okay. I was just like, them too? Damn.
Christian:Imagine. Fucking Pulisic just takes off his, hand warmer gloves and just starts beating people from Feyenoord.
Jerrell:Oh AC Milan went home. Sporting Dortmund, no goals today, but Dortmund didn't have to do anything. They were already up. Yeah. They were already up 3 0. So they just, they played a game.
Will:skate that.
Christian:Dortmund.
Will:Yeah. Yep, of course. Of course. And then Monaco Benfica. Did you guys get to see any of this game? Because this
Jerrell:Where are you? Monaco Benfica 3 3. Ah, did you cut out?
Will:No.
Jerrell:didn't see this one. Sorry.
Will:no, the game, this game was amazing. This game was amazing. They was just back and forth goes and even if you only get to watch 20 minutes of champions league football, watch the last 20 minutes of
Jerrell:Watch the last 20 minutes.
Will:Cause it was amazing.
Christian:Corner.
Jerrell:yeah. Champions Corner. Monika moves on 4 3. I could get Champions Corner. And Will wins the draw.
Will:Rounded 16 draw catch me up bright and early. I'll be live tweeting.
Jerrell:Goddamn, that says 6am.
Will:6 a. m.
Jerrell:shit.
Will:with the football fellers on Twitter and on Instagram. That'll be at 6 a. m. Most of the ties is gonna be one or the other. It's not last year's phase where it's just kinda like a random crapshoot. And then those legs are going to be played starting March 4th and 5th for the first leg and the following week We'll have the return leg on the 11th and 12th. So looking forward to some fun UCL teams going forward.
Jerrell:Oh, yeah. Christian, do you want to give us the Match Day 26 preview? Alright.
Christian:We got a few good games here. We got Leicester versus Brentford. That's being played Friday. Matchday. So only Friday game.
Jerrell:Friday Night Lights.
Christian:we got Everton verse menu. got our snow versus Wes ham the cherries versus the wolves full on versus crystal palace. It's switch versus Tottenham. Cool. Hampton versus Brian. And then we got the villains versus Chelsea and we have a Sunday game as well. New castle forest.
Jerrell:And let's not forget Man City and Liverpool.
Christian:That's also Sunday Man City versus Liverpool.
Jerrell:All right, that'd be an interesting game if we're if Man City has returned to form quote unquote, I don't know I don't know how Man City's feeling after losing out crashing out of UCL They did win 4 1, 4 0 against Newcastle Who knows what team shows up, but a part of me is rooting for the Man City dub
Will:I feel like it's What was it? Batman versus Superbowl when he was just like he bleeds or whatnot. So Watching Man City just getting worked up all year, but it hurts now because I have no belief in them this weekend Which is wild to say so i'm hoping everyone. I hope i'm hoping for a draw, but we'll see so
Christian:Nah, I'm gonna be rooting for City in this game and then taking a shower afterwards because that feels just dirty
Jerrell:Christian's going to sit there and be like, they're building from the back.
Will:He's gonna be in the, just crying, fetal position, this thing. As dirty as you're gonna be after you shower after this pod, after all those breast mentions that you made,
Christian:why do you
Jerrell:Oh boy.
Christian:to them
Will:Stop.
Christian:I didn't say anything I
Jerrell:We don't have to keep going back.
Will:It's a comeback story, like Kim Kardashian. Arsenal, this week against West Ham. How we feeling, guys? Cause, as much as we glazed over the first 80 minutes, I really thought we might drop points this last weekend. We'll see what the solution is in this game, but has been a little bit open in the back But are we safe? Am I jinxing it by asking?
Jerrell:Yes. I think we just got to tune in and find out.
Will:like, is that yes to the first part or the second part?
Jerrell:And not both.
Christian:mean West Ham has been on a not so great run of form I think they've only won twice in the last month or two And that was against South
Will:But
Jerrell:Every time we talk down on who Arsenal plays, it's a close
Will:they told me they'd change they promise. They're my catfish. So don't talk about them like that Murray 9
Christian:I'm confident we're gonna we're gonna come out with a hat trick this game. Yeah. What do you, what do you think? He had a brace coming off the bench. You think we make any changes or are we
Jerrell:I think he comes off the bench again when the game is not looking good.
Will:and can win some, a dues, but
Christian:long walks on the
Will:Spaniard what else do you need? But I don't, don't, I don't know if maybe, I don't know necessarily if they're gonna start him. I, I don't think, I'd hate to see the first same. Hmm. Sterling was really bad. I think over the next week we need to get some version of Sterling Unlocked. just something because he just looked like a player bereft of confidence. So there's a part of me that wants me to run it back. But also, can Marino 90 mins as your 9? And if you thought Havertz wasn't clinical, do we think Marino's gonna be? I, I don't know.
Jerrell:Where does MLS play?
Will:CDM, CM.
Jerrell:I don't know why I thought he was a winger.
Will:I think his goal against Man City was his first top level goal. And. It was a good goal. It was a good goal. We'll call it that, but no, he's not a winger. So
Jerrell:If Switch and the Spurs,
Christian:I believe, I believe got a new goalie. He's going to
Jerrell:we
Christian:shots,
Will:So did they. Chelsea's
Jerrell:get it right against the villains? Or are we gonna be back here and Chelsea's back next week and just flip flop in?
Will:approaching Spurs areas of, I don't know what the fuck you guys are gonna do week to week for me. So I'm, I'm, I'm leaning villains for this one, but we'll, we'll, we'll see if the Blues come alive, but it's a tough road game.
Jerrell:Maybe Brentford extends its unbeaten away streak this week against the Foxes. We'll see. Chance, chances are that they do, but you never know. But that's our preview. Any, any other games you guys want to talk about here?
Christian:Orlando city versus the Philadelphia union. Give it to me.
Jerrell:That's in our closing, but
Will:fuck them.
Jerrell:we've got, yeah, fuck them. But we'll, yeah. If you want to close this out for this episode,
Will:Are we
Jerrell:however you want to,
Will:Are we touching
Jerrell:can bring it up here. Why not? Yeah.
Will:So getting into it, do you want to do Orlando city first? Or do you want to talk about
Jerrell:Yeah. Yeah. Christian mentioned it. We'll end the city against Philadelphia union this Saturday.
Will:feeling about it
Jerrell:They were pretty good. City made some moves. They brought in some players. I haven't been able to see them play and. We'll see how it goes. They usually Hazel, they usually have a, how city is a slow start to the season and they get it together towards the end where they need to make the playoffs. So we'll find out.
Will:in Orlando city the first two months of the season. So we'll see how it
Jerrell:There you go.
Will:Honestly.
Christian:definitely a closing team. We're not
Will:Yeah.
Christian:the way we start,
Jerrell:Yeah. Poppy's going to be like, we need the eighth spot.
Christian:We lost a little for it to Houston. Not too long ago. I think today
Jerrell:I think it was just yesterday.
Will:Yeah. Does he
Jerrell:Yes.
Will:I heard,
Jerrell:He wants to start. Yeah, he wants to start and he wasn't starting and then we also
Christian:of holiday, but we were just,
Jerrell:Mikey holiday.
Christian:we
Jerrell:Nah. And when I saw Mikey holiday play, it wasn't, we're still talking, we're talking about MLS here, but it still wasn't very impressive to me in the time that he had to play his
Will:he was
Jerrell:crosses.
Will:mumble meds.
Jerrell:Yeah. So that one doesn't really bother me too much. As long as the kid is still there, as long as Thomas Williams still plays for Orlando city, yeah.
Will:Tommy!
Jerrell:He's in college now.
Will:Oh shit! more early bus rides, so
Jerrell:Yep. Nope.
Will:Yeah, and Jerel did you want to talk about the U. L. comp for MLS?
Jerrell:Yeah. A little bit. So USL announced that they're going to create division one soccer here in America. It's rumored to have promotion and relegation. Yep. So it would look to challenge MLS, which to be quite honest, I don't really know what MLS is doing now. They. I think they took in a stance to where they can bully the rest of US soccer, not participating in the open cup, doing what they want, having their own structure. I think that we do need a more traditional approach to soccer and how it's played in the rest of the world and to help us soccer grow. I think this is a right step. If it leads to a merger, it does. If USL overtakes MLS, I'm okay with that too. So that's on the horizon.
Will:reading a piece that the athletics did on it because I told you I'd do some homework on it they kind of like mentioned how in europe how despite there being only like really five like big leagues and each country has like A bunch of leagues. There's a lot of markets where there could be development so that way that there's other competitions with relegation or whatnot and they're expecting obviously I think you said they start in 2027 So they're just trying to create like a sustainable model to follow that goes along with the rest of europe Considering that the u. s. Also has what, million people in their population, but only 30 markets that they're really tapping into for teams. So yeah, I think it's a neat idea. Especially with MLS there's such a high barrier to entry. MLS also runs more NFL and will be like almost a business where
Jerrell:Yeah, I,
Will:have a team that MLS by itself has to have 75 percent of their teams. In a metro area with over a million people. You have to have a 15, 000 capacity stadium. Like a whole bunch of barriers where it's just for you to join, it's just like also show you like resources and backing. So I think this could be good. More soccer, more opportunities for other players and get, get found.
Jerrell:yeah,
Will:So
Jerrell:for sure. And I really hope it makes a us soccer more interesting to the American, right? Because we watch our sports to have your 32, 28, 30 teams across all these leagues. And these will always be the teams. These will always be the ones that are, will exist. And, you got the Cleveland Browns who struggle consistently year after year. If they're in a model where they'll get relegated or anything, at least you could get like fresh teams that move up and compete in the NFL, so to speak. Not saying that the NFL needs something like this. I think it's very unique to soccer. It's very fun. No matter what, every week your team is competing for something. I think it'll like, I will create more excitement in the game. And when it comes to MLS and if your team is shit, your team is shit and it doesn't matter. And you'll just be like we'll be back here next year. And there's such a very profit driven asset protection model for American sports that it, it makes people scared, but soccer is for the people. And.
Will:I thought I i'm most excited for too is just that when they talk about development and like youth academies, it's almost like regionally blocked based on the teams So I think it's just another like another area for someone to find an opportunity and you know Get in and get developed, don't fall through the cracks of
Jerrell:for sure.
Will:model, which I know we I think we We christian teased. Last week. I know early pods. I was all of my fucking conspiracy theory shit. But yeah, more opportunity for people to get found because I think that's the big thing U. S. needs.
Jerrell:So yeah, I'm definitely excited to see how this, how this progresses and might have to start paying attention to us, USL more, it's been like considered division two for the longest time now, but now it's going to be on equal footing. And
Will:In a sense,
Jerrell:I, me personally, I, I, I would, I would want us if USL does promotion or allegation, I would want. I want to be a fan of USL. I would want to be a part of that. And not so much MLS. MLS is like a carnival kind of thing. It's I want it to be a sideshow,
Will:fucking
Jerrell:it just exists in the vacuum, whatever.
Will:you thrive. Jarrell goes missing, you know why.
Jerrell:If he wants to cut the check and change my mind,
Will:crazy.
Jerrell:sell out so quickly.
Will:So that has been episode 29. We might bless you with a surprise during the week. Don't catch our words for it. Match Day 27 is coming mid week. We might review that if not. We will see you next week, and we're gonna cover, as we did this week, so much football!
Jerrell:So much
Will:gonna hold myself to it. I will be live tweeting for those draws. It's gonna be 30 minutes, I'm gonna be half awake yeah! Anything else, guys?
Jerrell:now that's all I think I went on a big tangent with American soccer.
Will:It's, it's, it's your podcast, we do it, you,
Jerrell:our
Will:our
Jerrell:podcast
Will:we, we, Oh, I forgot the song. Get high if we want to
Christian:Pods we've made right running on an hour long here.
Jerrell:and with it being an hour long, we will see you guys next week, maybe sooner. Who knows?
Will:guan!
Christian:Peace.
