Hey, everybody. Jarrell here with football fellas. Today is May 2nd, 2025. Unfortunately, yesterday we were recording an episode and we had audio issues, so that episode will not be available to release and we're gonna do something a little bit different this morning. We're gonna go through the same reviews, everything like that but it's gonna be a truncated version, like a Spark Notes. We will not be going into Champions League. We will, will not be going into specific matches really outside of scores. A lot of that will be discussed next week when we have the audio issues resolved and we have our, our full team here. So without any further ado, I'm gonna jump into it. Hey, football fellas, episode 38, Liverpool did clinch the title for Premier League. And we got a couple Champions League games that that occurred as well. Match day 34 review, Chelsea Beats Everton one zero. Nicholas Jackson does scores for school in four months. Brighton come back against West Ham, three, two, Newcastle, down Ipswich three zero in a very. Typical match where you know, teams who are getting relegated. This is gonna be the result I guess going forward. South Hampton had a chance to not have the least amount of points in Premier League history by going ahead one zero early on, but they end up falling to Fulham late. Two. One Wolves take care of Lester City. Three zero board draw with Man United and the one one draw. Liverpool put an exclamation point on their title with a five one victory over Spurs despite going down one, nothing early in the game. Liverpool having five unanswered goals and Nottingham continued to slide as Brentford gets the win. Two zero which occurred yesterday. May 1st moving over to the FA Cup semis. It's Crystal Palace Advances to the final over Ashton Villa three Zero. Villa has a little bit of struggles recently after crashing out of Champions League, they have now crashed out the FA Cup and they're sitting seventh in the standings looking to, to find their way back into European Play. Man City will look to defend their title, their FA Cup title. That is after beating Nottingham Forest, two Zero. And moving over to Champions League. Arsenal did lose to PSG in the first leg at home. One zero. Dle had a four minute strike was subbed off later with an apparent hamstring injury. We'll watch that and see if he's fit to play on the second leg. But despite all of that, arsenal showed moments of strong play towards the end of the first half and we're, we're able to keep it close in the second half. So not too much to worry. Game's not over yet. Arsenals still have hope. If they can win at the Bene Bay, they can win in Paris. Barcelona verse enter was a three, three draw, not the draw I was expecting it to be. And every goal is a banger. Definitely worth the watch. Both legs will continue. May 6th for Bara enter and May 7th for Arsenal and PSG. Jumping over to the Europa League. We have Man United with a 3.0 Victory over Athletic club. Athletic Club. Took a red card in the penalty area. Halfway through the first half, which conceded the score to two zero for Man United and Man United just took care of business with an additional goal. So Man United looking pretty in the first leg. The Spurs also handled business against the toothbrush Darlings and Bo Gli three one over in the Europa Conference League, which I understand is something we haven't really covered, but. Hey, today you learn Chelsea's in the Europa Conference League, but Chelsea takes care of business against Ja Gardens four one, and I believe Chelsea will host the second league at Stanford Bridge next week heading into Match Day 35. We have a couple matches with the European implications. We have man, city versus Wolves, which. Is a match where if the wolves managed to win this game, they would tie Liverpool with the longest winning streak of this campaign. Man city, just holding, trying to hold onto their. Their Champions League spot. They've had a good run of form. They're gonna look to continue to stay in that top five Ashton, Villa Fullham, two teams that are trying to get into the Champions League spot. Now, they still might have Europa League implications as well. So all is not lost. You could still get to a European tournament. Obviously Champions League is the goal, both teams looking to win to stay. To stay competitive. I'd say that Everton Ipswich, Ipswich already confirmed to be relegated Everton just trying to put a positive spin towards the end of their season. I know their run of form has also been lackluster, but trying to salvage what they can, they, they do play at home at Good Ason Park. So you want all three points at good Ascend where you can get them. Arsenal versus board myth board myth on a slide trying to. Find their way back into the top eight at least, or as it stands mathematically, the top nine can can at least qualify up to Europa Conference. Just the way the spots are handed out. Board Myth probably wants to be a little bit higher than that. I think they're out of that running for Champions League, but they can get to the Europa Cup as well. I think that would be big for the Club. Arsenal is just looking to lock up their champions league. I think mathematically it's not clinched. They can, they still have the potential to fall out, but a win will definitely lock that up for them. Brentford and Manchester City can Brentford win at the G tac. I know the the script has flipped for them and they've struggled at home and Manchester United had such a dominant win against athletic club on Thursday, so we'll see. Should be an interesting match. Brentford. Also Brentford hopeful are trying to look for some European tournament for next year. Moving down to Brighton and Newcastle. Also two teams that are looking for European spots. They need the wins here. Should be a tightly contested match. Westham versus Tottenham. There's not much at stake in this one. Maybe pride, and that's really about it. 16th, 17th place should be a low, low. Quality affair. I would say Chelsea and Liverpool. Liverpool clenching the title, but Chelsea needing every point they can. They currently sit in the Last Champions League spot and they wanna create some separation between the competition. So a win here would be huge for them. Maybe Liverpool starts rotating out players. We'll see what happens. And Crystal Palace first. Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest on their slide. They're down to sixth place right now. They're the first team looking. Looking in from the Champions league spot, a win all three points would definitely propel them up to third. If everyone above them loses, we'll see what happens. But Nottingham, after singing high praises for them and really sitting at third place for majority of the season, they've, they've started a, a decline. And maybe they can get things back on track against Crystal Palace, who I wouldn't sleep on either. All right guys. It's been Football Fellows. That was episode 38. We do have socials.
